Description
First Edition Photo book— Release Date: June 21st
I Am Always Here is a 100‑page photographic meditation on the Blackwater Estuary.
Created over years of walking the marshes and tidal creeks, this photo book reflects on continuity, presence, and the enduring rhythm of the landscape. The estuary has always been here — long before us, long after us.
All photographs were made using 5×4 large format and medium format film, embracing a slower, more attentive way of seeing. The images are shaped by tide, light and time — vast skies, subtle shifts, and quiet endurance.
The book includes a foreword by Gemma Padley, offering further reflection on the work and its place within contemporary photographic practice.
This A4 softcover first edition photo book is produced as a limited print run. By pre‑ordering, you are directly supporting the publication of the book and the continuation of the project.

Each copy of the book can be accompanied by an open edition 10x8 print — a natural extension of the work, produced to the same standard as the images within.
Off Grid is an image born from the same wanderings that gave life to this book — the estuary at its most elemental, a reminder that some places still exist outside of everything.
Grace is a portrait shortlisted for the Portrait of Humanity Award in 2020, featured in Portrait of Humanity Volume 2, and selected as part of the very first photography exhibition ever sent into space. Every image in that exhibition was converted into binary code and transmitted out into the universe, where it will travel indefinitely — until it is, perhaps, picked up by another form of life. Grace is out there somewhere right now. A quietly extraordinary image that has already travelled further than any of us ever will.
The Borrow Dyke returns us to the water's edge — to the sea walls and salt marsh that run through the heart of this landscape and this project.
